I don't think the Elves in my DF game are too happy... I've modded them so that their body temperature causes nearby trees to burst into flames ;D

If you ask me... It would be much funnier if they set other Elves on fire.

Not really...then they go extinct. Like this, even if they find an un-dwarf touched forest, when they try and live in it they will destroy it THEMSELVES. Think of it as a test implementation of curses.

A spinning sandal can mangle an elf's neck and send him flying backwards twelve squares.

Like what happened to Bush, only more EPIC.

Mabey they just cut off the part of the tree they need for their wooden items, unlike dwarves who chop down a whole tree just to make a cup out of it.

Hey! That's just not true! We don't waste an entire tree just to make one cup! Psh. We make three cups.

Aren't these dwarven mugs?  Surely they are large enough to go swimming in...

Only vaguely. Made of the same substance and put to the same use, but a bit like comparing a castle and a doublewide trailer.

Breeding dragons sends the world back into the age of myths-FAST.

The game tells you when the world changes age. I got this in Fortress Mode, but it's worth mentioning.

When you throw a sandal at an elf and his lower body "Explodes in gore!" (somehow) it counts as being "Shot and killed"  ::)

In fortress mode, I just discovered the "Toggle Engravings" designation. I can't believe I didn't notice that there before.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Well, fuck me, but I still don't know what this one does. I mean, what's there to toggle if the artifact descriptions are viewable by default? I have yet to test it out, unless I forget again.

It changes the engravings from pictures into highlighted wall sections

Which could make things look less messy.

Depends. I think the pictures look messy. I like highlighted walls, but not as much as I like smooth ones.

Pictures? So you mean that if a wall is engraved with a demon, the wall is gonna look like an ampersand? Or an engraving of "a dwarf surrounded by dwarfs" will be shown as a smiley face?
