Magical things can teleport in fortress mode. They don't seem to do it very often, though.

Wait, what magical things?  HFS?  Artifacts?

I just realized...

This thread has 36 pages. I was happily reading through page 1 till I noticed that. =[

I also realized, in-game, that I have created a new challenge.

"Keep It In The Family".

Run a fortress using only a male and female, and only use thus-family members in running the place. For Bonus? Do it in a glacier. Like me! :D

creatures with the [MAGICAL] tag. Which don't currently exist, but can be modded in.

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

I've noticed allies from previous games become enemies if you retired in entities your other guy was enemies with.

EDIT: AArrgh.. Now i'm confused when i went up the tower where i last died, one of hammermans decided to attack me, and then i find a swordsdwarf and a other hammerman just stand there doing nothing.  ???

EDIT:EDIT: Does blinking colors mean hes/shes a member of a party? because he was not a elite.

My Philosopher worships Lenod, the goddess of creation.

Sounded cool to me at the time.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

My adventurer got ambushed by a swarm of skeletal carp. They were literally spawning from the river. The only reason I survived for more than five seconds is that I was playing a high-damblock metal character from my mod.

You will get branded as public enemy number 1 simply by yanking a child's sock off him, and the socks of all the guards who give pursuit.

This is also enough to get you shot and killed.

I was swimming recently in a wide river and chased sea lamprey's and carp for miles. Got about 84 of them before one bit my neck... Bled all the way home...

I wonder, why were you undressing this harmless child?
