It is a matter of national security that Toady allows us to mark animals/materials for Catapaulting.

That's why I marked an animal cage for cats only, and embarked on adventure mode after abandoning Bloodthrust,(fort name, kinky, and awesome!).

Than trained my throwing skill with cat corpses. Would have been much cooler to use them as crossbow ammo though.

Catsposion. They crazy bit is that if you killed all of them the owner would probably throw a tantrum and go on a killing spree.

Huh.  In my most recent fortress, the cats ARE the crossbows.  And the ammunition.  And the armor and shields and waterskins and backpacks AND the rations in the backpacks.

My entire military-industrial complex is feline in origin.
