LCS for Linux
« on: June 18, 2004, 04:55:00 pm »

Thanks to the efforts of Kevin Sadler, LCS is now available for Linux.  You can find it on the LCS page.  There's also a windows version 3.08 that might have a minor bug fix or two.  The car crashes (horrible pun, sorry) are still in progress, although thanks to a savefile I received I have a better handle on what's going on there.

Viva Tux!

Hi, I worked on the Linux port.

If you are running on Linux please read the LINUX_README.txt file that is included in the packages. This tells you how to build and install and also about the issues with the fonts for the graphics which you can solve by downloading some fonts.

I'm currently looking at how to get the text graphics to work on Linux without the CP437 fonts, it'll probably involve unicode.

If you have any problems or questions related to the Linux port this is the place.
