The game has a habit of crashing on me at various points...The game this occurred, what I know was happening was that I'd botched things (deliberately spending 20+ years in prison) and had all but police brutality at Arch-Conservative.

It's hard to say.  It would help if you could send a save file that I can use to reproduce this behavior.  Also make sure that you have the latest version I posted.
