NationStates 2 went open beta today. I'm in world 34 as "Nightwind" if you guys want to start a B12 alliance.

And for those who do not know nationstates, it's a game based on a book, which I want to read someday and it's a nation simulator of sorts. You are the supreme overlord of a nationstate and you get a few issues daily and see how they affect your nation. It's a casual game btw, you only have to go there once a day.

NS 2 is a lot more hands on from what I heard so it should be cool. I already registered a name ages ago but I want to play now :O

I am still mad at Nation states for considering myself a Despot just because I made it a law for married couples to call themselves "Dear" everyday.

How was I supposed to know it would have been an enforced full on law? I though it was one of those morale increasing laws like the state where it is illegal to frown.

Also for them instantly destroying my wilderness due to "Selective foresting" and not telling me why I lost all my nature (For the fact that it is the exact opposite outcome that selective foresting is supposed to induce is a mystery... When Selective Foresting becomes "Clear-cut foresting" you know there is a problem)

The smaller the nation, the more extreme the results of your choices. The larger the nation, the harder it is to shift your nation. Your nation may be a despot one day, but if you pass the right Issues, it may be a democracy the next.

was looking at Ambassador perks (for donating). Looks like donators can create private worlds in the forseeable future that they can invite other players to..could be interesting
