I love that feeling.  Where your nerves are so shot that the only thought in your mind is getting away?  The last time that happened to me was in Silent Hill 3, in the big wheel room in the first level, all the noise, combined with the crazy things chasing me.

I just finished the second...and hopefully last.... fight with the regenerator

for half of the time, I thought you had to lure him into the shuttle and send him out into space, so i wasted a ton of ammo before I realised I might simply try to incinerate him

If i had to sum up the game in a single line i'd say "Bioshock IN SPAAAAAAAACE". It's not Systemshock 3 or even 2.5 if anything, it resembles Doom 3 more.

Doom 3 was the first game i didn't just dislike, i hated it.
Not scary at all, Had a feeling of annoyment while playing and gave me a headache trying to see anything at all.
I wouldn't compare it to any of those games in terms of gameplay, just that it seemed to follow the same plot as SS2.
Not that it did as well, just similar

just finished it

is it just me, or was the last boss waay to easy ?

I mean, getting the marker across this very last sidewalk without being killed was way harder than this boss

sure, he was epicly gigantic, well designed, and the death scene for him was my favourite so far, but still...

Didn't you hear? Pathetically easy last bosses are in.

Note: This is a reference to a topic on GameFAQs where people complained that there was no last boss (or last boss replacement) to Fable 2 only get get half the conversation constructed on how last bosses are unneeded and in fact undesirable in videogames.

doom 3 is like playing splinter cell. but on the side of the guards. with more health. and multiple, mutated sam fishers.

Doom 3 is like playing duckshot on a broken TV capable of only showing red dots.
Might have hated it a little less if the gun flashlight mod existed when i tried it.
