I've played since June with a group from another forum. We run Fort Mole on the Wild server.

Honestly, you only need a premium account if you're playing on the Wild server. On Home there is no reason to fight anything so you really don't need more than 20 skill in anything unless you want to build large buildings.

Also, I personally find the Wild server a lot more fun. You *can* PK anyone, but people don't, and all combat is White Lighter vs Black Lighter. The game becomes a lot more fun on Wild, as instead of just building to build like on Home you're building to further the war effort.

Nope.

Wild Server is split up into two factions, White Lighters (good) and Black Lighters (evil). Everyone starts out as WL (to become BL you have to hike like an hour and a half). Also, Black Lighers consist almost entirely of those jerks you are wary of.

WL on WL violence is vary rare, and when it does happen us players punish the offenders. Recently a town made up of Facepunch forum members decided they were going to be WLers but attack and loot other WL towns. We attacked them, sieged their town, and basically destroyed it to the point where it was abandoned by most of them and almost all of them ended up moving out of WL territory and becoming Blacklighters.

Oh, also, my group is currently expanding the White Lighter influence (via constructable guard towers) further and further south into BL territory, so there is plenty of frontier area that is also relatively safe and protected for you to settle.

I made us a photobucket!  Some of the screen shots were just so breathtaking that I had to share them.  The username is dfwurm, the password is quarry - everyone upload your screen shots!

Just wanted to say Markatta logged in as Amanita and I led him up to the site, so don't bite him! I gave him a little tour and he helped me haul some water, clay, and iron ore up. FOR GLORY!

I believe we now have the materials to make a cart, once we make the parts.

And I uploaded a pretty picture to the photobucket, of one of the moons rising:

I've played Wurmonline for almost 2 years now, I'm slowly getting back into it again.
If you get enough people together I would willingly help you create a village, I'm aways on IRC if you want to chat.

I put the pictures that I was taking when turgid caught me up on the hillside on photobucket.
Nice looking, specially considering I have all the settings at minimum.
