Description
Wurmonline is completely player made, when the servers reset there was only forest and mountains and lakes.
The servers now have large towns, interworking road systems and so forth, you have complete freedom when playing.
The game is split into two servers, the wild and the home server, on the wild there is a war between the white light and the black light side and complete PVP is allowed but due to the map size you will rarely run into a stray person from the other side unless you go looking.

Our Town
Our town is settled near the westen border of home between a low mountain with a tundra top, and a very high mountain.
We have placed a large deed (This claims the land as ours, and spawns some guards) on our village, we have terraformed 3/4 of the deed area, and alot of housing is up.
<Insert>

How to get to us
From Home
You'll start in NT, go along the road towards Aegis, then follow it untill you come to a cross roads, turn right there.
After following that road for a while you'll end up at an island in a small lake with a one tile road towards it, turn left here and go along the cobble path that becomes packed after a bit, follow this road untill you see water, slowly slide down the hill to water then follow the shore to your right untill you find a packed dirt road up, follow it.

Blue Sqaure is topdogs deed near by, Black is Copperblazes.

From Wild
If your at ORD on the wild, follow this path to home

If your at the landing, follow it from the landing
Once on home follow this path

I was unsure on whether to give this game a try or not, but reading this has convinced me it's worth a shot. I'll see if I can get everything working alright...

EDIT: No good. Can't connect to the server (logs me in alright, it's this damn restrictive internet connection...)

Well, as soon as I figure this out, I'll see you there! I guess, if this is a Dwarf Fortress town, you'll need a few miners, and that does sound like a fun job. By the way, there aren't any Elephants around Rivendell, are there? D:

The ozone layer cries, as we have started making charcoal to earn money for a deed for when we move onwards.
Charcoal pile burning!

Some unfinshed piles around the back

Smoke from outside

Come join the fun!

Sounds like it could be worth trying out. I'll try and join you as Kelbarr, once my registration is approved.

I've joined since yesterday, as Fastbart.

So far I find the game very enjoyable, it's like a better version of the UnReal World. In 3D.

I decided to join the Wild server as well.  I was with pitchblack, turgid, sapphos and a few others on Home and just got bored knowing that there was never going to be any PVP (What was the point of making weapons and armor?).  I don't like PVP very much, but I do like it every once and a while just to excite things a little bit.  Knowing that there is another faction out there (black-lighters) brooding over your extermination makes building a village seem more exciting to me.

For anyone out there who thinks that they're going to get instantly attacked on Wild, let me tell you that it is a myth.  Wild is practically identical to Home,  PVP is very rare.  I think I like it much better because it gives quite a bit more freedom.

I have one question though, I read somewhere that Wild is premium only.  Has this been changed, or are there certain parts of it that still require a premium account?

Edit: My Home name was Luram, my Wild name is Gilgal.

I'm still hanging out on Home, at our original pre-move site.  I don't think I'll be able to play anywhere with lots of buildings and walls due to crummy FPS...that and I don't get a kick out of reclaim mode nearly as much as I enjoy building everything from scratch.  Still, maybe someday...

Do characters / their stats transfer over between Home and Wild?

(I may not play as much as I have been, due to RL.)
