yeah im having grain problems. how do you make a profit out of grain? as in end up with more grain than when you started?

sow about 20 grain. wait 3-4 days, harvest. you should get 3 grain per crop.

if you get 2, then wait another day

Slowly. Only plant about 10-15 units at a time and wait till its fully grown before harvesting. Every time you harvest, replant 10-15 plants and grind the rest.

another question. at my level of fishing it says i can construct bow nets.
how do you do that? also how long do i have to sail to get to the 2nd island and in what direction?

Bow nets are buildings in the water that slowly accumulate fish over time... I don't know exactly what you need to make them though.

As for the 2nd island, you don't need to sail, just act like you're settling on the island permanently and eventually the answer will turn up. If you're bored of the island and just want to get on with it,

Actually the second island requires tasks to be completed. Eventually you will need to acquire children of the sea and then you will go to the third island. A weapon would be a very good idea to carry at all times.

He said to get to the second island, not to get to the third one .That's what I was referring to when I said 2nd.

Huh. It happened to me the second I built my hut so I kind of just assumed it happened when you built a hut.

I think all he has at the moment is a shelter. An actual hut or treehouse is required to advance the "plot". Would make sense if there was an actual mechanics reason to build something other then a shelter. Also would be nice if you could take down your shelter without spending an hour hitting it.

actually i DO have a hut. and im building a treehouse now too. maybe it has to do with the fact i havent taken down my tent and shelter?
