Modders created more.

Also, some official extra ones were released for free officially.

Free norn breeds released as a "Sorry" for not having the shop up. I've also got the norn packs, but I'll stop spreading them as soon as the shop gets back up. >: Send me a message if you would like them. (In case you didn't get the hint before. xD )

Creatures brings back memories, I used to be very active in the Community as a 'modder' for Creatures 2 and 3 under the name of AquaShee.  Even had my own site, but most of my stuff is just floating around now. Should be traceable through the wiki linked up above. Some of it is also on Creatures Caves.

The most fun part of Creatures is downloading new content and having your Norns play around with it.  Since many of the plants and animals have actual growth and reproduction cycles, you can set up little ecologies all over the place. There's quite a few new 'rooms' for the ship available with different kinds of life in them.

Most of the things I made are proof-of-concept objects, such as a mod that enabled waterbreathing norns to actually swim around (user-made mernorns for C2 were gorgeous) or things like mechanical plants and see-through portals.
I also worked on the Garbage Dump, a room filled with toxic waste and lifeforms to cater for the Toxic Norns and some oceanic rooms for waterbreathing norns. I loved writing all the scripting for the little plants and animals.

AquaShee? I used to play with some of your creations =). Thank you for you work!
I was better at creatures 2 though, in 3 I played for a short time and didn't get familiar with possibilities.

Yay, I'm famous on teh intarwebz! <^)))><

I should really finish up on some of my older works. I remember this machine I made that gave 'life' any objects you put inside. It could make herds of cheese roam about and stuff. I wonder where it went.

Hey! If you're here, I forgot to ask... How can I get all your creations now? I want to play creatures 3 and learn it with new features but it seems that the site AlbianOceans is down... Is there a way I can find an archive?

Some of my stuff is available at Creatures Caves. I gave the community there permission to collect and upload any of my work they could find.  If there's anything really specific that's not on there, I could try and look it up for you.  I kinda lost everything Creatures related I once had, including the most awesome Norngarden 2, best new room for creatures 3 ever.

I've found an archive of your site, but the zip files re broken.
The WinRar can fix them though. But I can't find "toxic dump" there.

Here you go: The Garbage Dump. Found an old link on an archived webpage that seems to point to an existing location. Woo.

In C3 it's in the far right end of the main ship. It's the machine on the first level down, on the left. You should be able to work it out.

In DS it's in the comms room ( the radio symbol ) and you click on the ! with lots of lines coming out of it.

I remember, vividly, when Creatures 1 came out.  I bought it the same day I won a local 5k race when I was in high school, then I played it the entire rest of the day and had a ton of fun.

I never really could get into the sequels as much.  They just didn't have the same charm as the original did for me.  I'm sure you can find the original somewhere, but I must warn you, it is a MAJOR pain to try and get it to run on a modern OS - but possible.

Is it really that difficult to run on a modern OS?  I've got it sitting around here somewhere...

"Bibble" has become a somewhat special utterance to me after playing Creatures.
