Hm...I used to buy various stuffs from all over Europe and I always used the bank-to-bank xfer method...the money what I sent from here [Europe, Hungary] always arrived after 2+ weeks. Perhaps it's just slow in Europe?

No, only in the eastern countries  (I've had transfers to the Netherlands from Hungary before, took about 1.5 weeks).Transfers between the Schengen-pact countries, or within the euro-zone perhaps, are next day or 2 days at most, AFAIK.
