Count me in for $25, but don't look for a paypal donation... I find that a bit tacky.

I will begin work on a superdwarven Christmas card immediately!
It will be adorned with hanging rings of paper and menace with spikes of cotton cloth!

Mail our own Christmas card? Do we all know Toady's snailmail address or something?

I'll see if I can afford to donate more than $5, it depends on how much money I make over break and how I'm feeling about my college debt situation.

From Bay 12 Games Donation Page:

You can also send mail of any kind, including but not limited to donation checks and money orders, to:

Tarn Adams
PO Box 2990
Silverdale, WA 98383-2990

Please make checks payable to Tarn Adams. Please remember to sign and write your address on money orders; the bank won't take it otherwise. All donations go toward site fees, computer equipment and my personal expenses. As of June 2007, donations are the only money I receive from month to month and are therefore deeply appreciated!

Hecton, with his hundred arms, is the official accountant for Dwarfmas.    Keep up the awesome calculation work that I was dreading!
No problem. A hundred arms, fifty heads, and fifty... other things working for the forum's pleasure.

$669.34 American Dollars plus 100 Australian plus 50 Rand...
Current promised donations come out to $738.68.

Note: If you say you will donate forty of fifty bucks, I will assume forty. Also this is the number before factoring in PayPal. And, damn, you Australians and Southafricans are on the shitty end of the exchange rate. I never realized that before today.

Oh, I think I'l send him a little pressie of...I dunno, probably 50 American dollars via PayPal. On Christmas Eve.The danish-american exchange rate is a bit rude and since I'm studying, I get shite amount of moolah. Which is one of the many, MANY reasons I love DF so damn much. Its free!

Last month's donation total was the lowest to date.   It is up to us to make this the best Dwarfmas ever.   I propose that on the night of the 24th, DWARFMAS EVE, we flood Toady's paypal account with donations.   It's simple as cake, but sometimes we all need to be reminded that Toady more or less gives us gifts all through the year, essentially being his own cadre of elven toymakers, reindeers, etc.

This thread is for you, the DF community to earn your way onto the NICE LIST and stand up and say "I am going to make this the best DWARFMAS ever.    And I will do this by giving Toady money."

I will start by pledging to donate at least 20 dollars on the 24th.

(Attention:  Posting in this thread to argue or make excuses for why you're not donating is detrimental to Holiday Cheer, and will get you on the naughty list.)

Due to how I have to plans things I will rather donate in a few hours 20$ for Toady, I've not recently been playing his game, but damn I love it.
I'd also like to send him a christmas card from Norway, any idea where's the link for his adress?

Edit : No need for the adress, found it now. Wonder if he needs any spare computer parts like ddr2 ram?

I'll donate $25. I've been playing this game since it came out (and Liberal Crime Squad before it, ah, good times), and have never donated... so really I should give more. Make it $50! Ho ho hoo boy I'm gonna regret this...

I had a good idea for a signature so I decided to use it but then I forgot it. This wasn''t it, but this is pretty good too.

Hmm... a card seems pretty badass to send, but I don't have any checks. And I'd be paranoid that I messed one up and it didn't get accepted and Toady was denied the donation and I wouldn't notice for like six months.

Though by pledging this all at the end of the month, isn't Toady denied having his usual donations early? Could be tough to have to wait like twenty days to get anything at all as we all plan to send at once.

Wonder if we'll crash paypal / other pay service / the US mail service.

I should totally make a card.  I have like $40 worth of nice, fancy paper left over from architecture classes.   "You're only going to use like three sheets of the stuff, but you can only buy it in 25 sheet packs and it's like 75 cents a sheet."  I hated those classes.

You are in US, there should be several locations around you, like a local branch bank, that will sell a money order for a small fee.  Or just stuff a bill in a greeting card, not 100% secure but grandmothers worldwide have been doing it for centuries.

Would be cool if Toady would post images of his favorite cards he got this Christmas.  I'd love to see what kind of demented stuff this kind of community could send through the mail.
