so an artifact is also appropriately named named for once, this event makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside

Hey, a child made a horse bone coffin (from zombie horses) on my evil map and named it "The Decay of Hooves" :D It didn't have any nice pictures though. Just zombie horse bone spikes.

That's awesome.

The cat of tulips. An iron battle axe, banded in steel, with hanging rings of pig tail cloth and menacing spikes of cat bone. Produced by my founding woodcutter turned legendary weaponsmith turned axedwarf. He wields it valiantly and has slain around 112 goblins and 37 orcs with this bad boy.

I like the appropriate name, like it's packed with the whole plane of existence.

Can someone transcribe the noted history/description of the artifact on the wiki, in hopes of saving its page from deletion, even with artifacts being randomly created, this is clearly an event of note. I mean what are is the percentage chance of an artifact having this much detail?

I don't know who thought the page should be deleted, but it's idiotic. I mean, dwarffortresswiki is NOT the wikipedia, for carp's sake. Should we delete Thermonuclear Catsplosion, too?

Oaken Crown:
On this object is an image of Pinehushed the cougar and Akik Campendenever the Fortuitous Deer deer of  Poking the human in Oak.
Pinehused is cringing.
Akik Campendenever the Fortuitous Deer deer of  Poking is laughing.
The artwork relates to the ripping of the cougar Pinehused's left rear paw by the human Akik Campendenever the Fortuitous Deer deer of  Poking in 58.

I think his title is more epic then the artifact itself.

I picture this statue as a globe/map of the world, with little annotations at the precise points where all that history happened :)

I think someone on the wiki confused the "Deletion" tag with the "D for Dwarf" tag. Besides, the artifact does offer some new information, as previously stated we now know that the actual limit for the value of artifacts far exceeds 640,000 Dwarfbux, and we know that a mood only fails when the materials are not on the map. As long as materials are available, the mood will continue for however long it takes to collect them

I removed the Marked for Deletion tag on Planepacked. Surely Armok would pour out his fury on whoever would blot out Planepacked from our annals, for it is itself an annal of dwarven history. I have a feeling that for generations to come all dwarven oaths will be made in the name of Planepacked.

And that's annals with two Ns. What did you think I said?

Crude memory dump:

Epic.
I like how the last annotation is itself being created. Gives the impression that these events are in order.
