Truly amazing artifact though, I hope you've had that dwarf moved to quarters that make the king's look like a hovel.

All you'd need to do is put the statue in it.

I just had this image of this bearded guy in a white toga screaming "Oh me no!" and tearing his beard out.
My god!, Jesus was a dwarf!

No, he was an elf wearing a beard. That's why he can tear it out. A dwarven Jesus's beard would just grow even bigger till he could use it as a magma cannon on Earth.

Just came across this post from the link on this wiki. Thought I'd share a piece of armor that I had made in my most recent game. I don't feel like screenshotting it right now but I can later if people want. Note that I use Civilization Forge, otherwise lamellar wouldn't be possible, however I don't think it affects the price too much as it is meant to be between chain and plate armor.

Echonmosus, The Good Rooms, a Adamantine lamellar
This is a Adamantine lamellar. All craftsdwarfshup is of the highest quality. It is decorated with turtle bone and encircled with bands of turtle bone. This object menaces with spiked of Adamantine. On the item is an image of thick crescents in Adamantine.

Basic Value: 3422400

I was astounded, my first champion (and captain of the guard) wears it proudly.

That is an EPIC statue. but still, you should talk to Toady about it, just to get his take on things. Not saying he should go on a bughunt, but everyone must know of this mighty artifact!

Lucky, all I get are earrings with a dwarfs, and dwarf surrounded by dwarfs.

The reason you only get a dwarf surrounded by dwarves and nothing else, is because you don't have SHOWALLHISTORY:YES in you init files. I think it is automatically on NO so that's why.

Yikes, the Orcs have a nasty language.  Traditional foreplay would be right out for them; how would they ever "say my name" for one another?  No wonder Ocrs are always so bloodthirsty and violent, they're getting sub-par action.

I tried that once and it was an utter fail.

This is a Native Gold statue. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality.
It is encircled with bands of Native Gold and turtle shell.
This object menaces with spikes of Emerald.
On the item is an image of SHOWALLHISTORY:YES in Microline.

Actually you need SHOW_ALL_HISTORY_IN_DWARF_MODE:YES in your init file.  That will show you what the meaning behind the dwarf surrounded by the dwarves.

You need to make said elf leather into the most amazing work of art.  Embed it with every kind of gem you have, stud it with metals, and sew images into it.  Erect a shrine outside your fort with that in the center.  Let the elves know that you view their very skin as naught more but a medium for your dwarves to work on.
