Am I the only person who gets plenty of single peasants with no friends in the world?

I see a lot of people say they're married but the majority of mine are single.

Same for me. I don't buy the idea of peasants being spouses of skilled immigrants. IMO, peasant is just another pick from a random list of jobs, which is much more frequent that any single job by the way

To the OP:
just kill all the non-peasant migrants  ;D

All my peasants are married and have a shedload of children and yes I drafted them so now all my marksdwarves, swordsdwarves etc have their own personal meatshield seeing as their kids keep following them around and ALL of them are carrying a baby around.

I hate getting my dwarves list cluttered up with hauling-only fisherdwarves or dyers or what-have-you. Even the plain old peasants eventaully turn into growers if let to harvest for long enough...

Wait, can you remove skills with dwarf companion? Does DC work for the lastest version?
