Have just watched episode 26 (what it seems it was the last, at least for this season) of Bodacious Space Pirates. Have anyone mentioned how much balls Marika have? No really. That girl have planet sized balls with all the stuff she manages to pull off.

Got bored yesterday and watched the last 2 episodes of Digmon Xros Wars Hunter who leaped through time. The crossover battle was pretty cool, but other than that it was mostly just meh for me. Might just be cause I didn't watch the rest of the Xros Wars seasons beforehand.

Bodacious Space Pirates (AKA: Moretsu Space Pirates). It's actually very light on the fan service despite what the name might sounds (it's also a portmanteau for bold and audacious), and it's all kinda awesome, with protagonists who actually act sanely and use tactics instead of winning by shouting louder than his opponents. And the tactics are actually pretty good and realistic all considered. Watch it!

On anime events: I'll be on Anime Friends, on São Paulo, Brazil, next week, if anyone by decides to be around there.

Chapter 5 of Inganock.

I think I'm starting to memorize the entire intro to this scene.  Inganock likes to use the same sentences for a lot of scenes, which I'm kind of against.  I mean yeah Gii saying "...too slow" and "Don't cry." is neat but having entire scenes 90% identical?  Readers can tell you know Liar-Soft!


I do enjoy how even the characters with lower quality sprites seem to still feel like characters.  People like Stanislaw or Eralee or Asila Greg or the crack engine children (sic everywhere).  Because, when I first saw a lot of these characters in chapter 1 they really felt like throw away characters but it's nice to constantly see them.

Especially Eralee.  I'm afraid he's asking for a death wish though.  (I kind of miss Salem)

The scenes in chapter 5 with Randolph sucked though.  Good job being really dull and uninteresting old man.  It cuts to a scene with him at least five times too.

The Black-Clad Girl was interesting, wet hair huh.  She disappeared along with Va-the lamb twin's grandfather too.

Also does anybody realize Gii has killed four of the forty-one creatures in a span of like a month?  That's ridiculous.  Although it's clear the Golden Spiral Staircase has something up their sleeve since they're obviously monitoring Gii's progress.

The black 'thing' is especially worrying.  Nice laugh.

Also speaking to some person called 'Grimm Grimm' which I seem to recall him doing in the chapter 3 inside talk.  That has to be his 'clown' right?  Because from my impressions Kikai users are sort of crazy and have a delusional existence following them telling them to do bad things.



And on a last note the H scenes in Inganock are very clean which is so nice.  I was getting kind of sick of insane amounts of semen shooting over people.  You don't even see genitals.  The 18+ really is just for top nudity and erotic fiction/voices.

Chapter 5 had way too little Ruaha though.

Well at least there's no ordinary high school students that can kill servants.

We're accumulating quite a bit of stock scenes now.  I never thought I would ever say that.  Stock scenes.
Well they're not 100% the same but...

The Golden Spiral Staircase scenes, the Randolph scenes, the Climax Battle scenes in every chapter (except ch2).  Although the music has changed since chapter 6 since we've been fighting Kikai and not Creatures.

I suppose there are lesser examples too.  In the beginning chapter 5 when we had Iru, the Black-Clad Girl, and the Engine Spriti walking about they got the same line for them walking many many many times.  It just feels really cheap and lazy.  I'm okay with the staircase scenes and climax battle scenes only because they're really fun, but it's still bothersome.

Chapter 7 was good either way.  We aren't going to stop getting cool characters are we?  We got Sara and Kurtz this time.  Upper Tier aristocrats!  And they didn't die!  Although Kurtz is in a coma for his health.  And Karken gets another ending scene where he does nothing the whole chapter (same thing as chapter 5, although he gets his largest appearance yet in chapter 6)

I got tumbled around on Tvtropes and discovered FLCL. And remembering I had seen about ten minutes of it as a child when toonami was still on CN.

I watched all the six episodes and somehow everything about life feels better despite my reluctance to let it.

FLCL managed to force its way into being my favorite anime. Maybe it's because it's so short. I've watched it three times, so I've picked up on all the crazy subtle crap.

But I feel like most animes don't have this much crazy subtle crap packed into such a nice small package.

Now it finally makes sense why Ruaha is with Kerkan in the OP.  Sure chapter 8 ends with her back at Gii's house but she holds an obvious affection for Kerkan, the man who will kill every person in Inganock the <<Fantastic City>>.  His motivations are almost identical to Ladd Russo and that's a good thing.

The 'game' was fun, that multiple choice question finally wasn't the obvious 'something to do with your hand' choice.  Not that it matters, I've noticed the right answer is always the bottom choice.  Not having a copy and paste climatic battle this chapter was great too.

Also hey Astea got himself killed, not that it matters since at this point he was barely a human anyway.  Man with a Watch and the 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HUHUHUHUHUHUHUH' lady are left of the omnipotent evil party.  The lady seems to be after Kia.  My guess?  She's the Black-Clad Girl from chapter 5 or something.  Kia dubs her Kuro-san but that didn't seem to stick well.

Also wet hair.

Grimm Grimm is definitely not Kerkan's Kikai because Xerxes or something is.  Grimm Grimm's name is based on the Brother Grimms of course.  So why does he talk to it sometimes?  Oh well.  At least he called Ruaha a human.

Yes I liked this chapter a lot because my two favorite characters interacted with each other.

Not that Gii doesn't have funny lines.

I'm pretty sure Witch-Hunt got the demo before it was actually released.  Since 07th Expansion seems fully in support of the English translation projects and I know for a fact Ryukishi07 himself is a big western fan anyway.  (not obvious in Higurashi or Higanbana but very obvious in Umineko and RGD)

I'm starting to gather a large list in untranslated games I want to play too.  One that has hit my radar very hard is SubaHibi which appears to be great on the outside.  Translation is moving fast too so I wouldn't be surprised if it finishes this year.  Gotta love those unreliable narrating existential crisis-ing denpa madness multiple protagonist depressions and violence with one true end things!

I've finished every Denpa game in English besides Divi-Dead anyway.  They actually have a site with the entire game online.  I'm pretty sure this is legal because the game is so old.

I'm on volume 10 of Vagabond but I've been putting 90% of my productivity in Inganock because it only works on my desktop and my desktop is ooooooold.  I'd prefer not being stuck in one spot too...
