Oh, forgot to mention that all of the children were legendary in all of the social skills and had maxed out attributes. It almost makes me want to go back and see how horrifying a tantrum spiral would be...I'm pretty sure the kids are all stronger than the adults by now.

They don't really hurt anything if you have a half-decent cook, I've noticed.

Sounds like a modest proposal to me.

Ahahahahahahahahaha  :D

No one else got that?

If you have a bunch of kids, give them all a label so you remember who they are. When they grow up, give them military training jobs. Pump Operating, Hunting, Tanning, Butchery, Plant Processing, etc. Things that give quick attribute increases without hurting your fortress economy. Hey presto, draft them as wrestlers for dodging skills. Takes years, but ridiculous military might will be yours.

My economy is rock solid, to the point where I don't WANT any more than 50 dwarves. I'm pretty sure that as soon as they become adults I'm just drafting every last one and having an epic army right off the bat.
