Do you happen to know if ethics can be changed after a worldgen?

I want my dwarf bone crafts!  :D

Month late, but no.

Would anyone happen to know if SKILL_LEARN_RATEs can be altered after world gen?

Sneaking in here to note that while I've been a tad distracted from DF/the community here of late, I'm not dead and will still strive to keep the OP here updated as need be.
I suggest sending me a PM if there's proven exceptions/changes I need to add/make, as that'll email me and get my attention no matter if I'm actively watching in here.

I forgot to add noble positions to a custom race and they are absent from Fortress Mode. Is it possible to add noble positions to the entity file? I used the whole human civ & race as a template for mine, if this is of any importance.

It's impossible to add anything to the entity file after worldgen.

Any chance it might be possible to change some parts of the entity files (ie, what civs are capable of what reactions and so on) and post-worldgen now due to the ongoing world-gen of 0.40?

But the sad truth charlie?
It was inevitable.

Last I knew adding/removing permitted reactions was one of the very few things that could be changed in the entity files post world gen, though it had some weird effects, notably that though it would allow your fortress to make something traders would still never show up with any of them (since none were created during world generation). I'd suggest duplicating your world, trying it out, and then posting the results here.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Does changing [NAME::] tag of an item require regen?

Thanks a lot, Putnam.

That's for Toady to say. Probably not, but there's a chance.

I'm still playing 34.11, but when I updated to the last LNP version for it, I noticed that editing the raws in the saved game region folder no longer works.  I've edited dragons with [CHILD:51][GENERAL_CHILD_NAME:dragon hatchling:dragon hatchlings], but this isn't reflected in-game after restarting. I got this working before, so I'm not sure what I'm missing this time around.
