A crimp got me drunk, and I woke up here, chained to the mizzenmast.

What is this Mizzenmast you speak of? It sounds too dirty in your context for me to type it up on Google.

mizzenmast - the main mast on a sailing ship

Holy crap, what did you think you were going to find?  Googling is not dangerous.

I'm not entirely sure why I signed up. I probably either needed help or just wanted to sign up in case I needed help in the future.

Well Qmarx's dwarf used his pick to pierce the earth, and even though he wasn't using his drill to pierce the heavens, its still pretty appropriate.
I only just noticed that.  Quickly, some one mod in a beastman civ with armor called ". . ."  er, I forgot what the giant robots were called.

Well Qmarx's dwarf used his pick to pierce the earth, and even though he wasn't using his drill to pierce the heavens, its still pretty appropriate.

It's pretty much the exact opposite of Gurren Lagann.

This pick is the pick that has already pierced the hells.

But, yeah.  A Gurren Lagann mod would involve the following changes:

Gen a world with trees dramatically less prevalent, and deserts everywhere.

Rename elves "beast men", and give them some positive damblock.
Give them a new metal for armor called Ganmenium, which is dramatically better than all others.  Remove all weapons from their civ except spears, maces (which are renamed robotic fists), and crossbows (which are renamed machine guns).

Remove all weapons from dwarves except picks.  Move the damage up by 30, and rename them "drills".

A Ganmenium drill will pierce just about anything, especially if equipped by a legendary miner who's never seen combat before.

I guess "I like to annoy people" is as good a reason as any

To pimp out my super-cool graphical tileset.

You should have a link to it in your sig.

MyLittlePonyBuiltMyHotRod, this is your first warning. I would like to direct you to read our forum's FAQ and posting guidelines before posting again. Specifically we don't use swear words here, and your picture of Stalin riding a Year3 Limited Edition Starflower inside a German concentration camp was both upsetting and historically inaccurate.

Hrm... I don't remember.

I killed a kitty by raising a bridge... waste of meat, but it was following Urist McNewcomer, who was unfortunately only stunned.

Well that was my first post, so I'd assume I signed up to share an interesting story.

Mainly so I could take part in the occasional polls that find there way on here  ;)

Ok, it was 'cos I find the imagination of the average dwarf fortress player uplifting.
