If it wasn't for the graphics sets I wouldn't be playing DF! (Ya...figuring out ascii symbols requires thought...I'm lazy. LAZY LIKE A CAT.)

I've uploaded everything to DFFD.

This update:
- Updated with the remaining human professions, as well as the male nobles, slave, and prisoner.
- Updated the matgloss to set the background colours for all layer rocks to black, made the black pixels in those tiles transparent

Up next:
- Remaining human nobles
- Give the Sheriff his own sprite (dwarves and humans)

'course, I use the vanilla ASCII graphics myself, but this is still one of the better graphics sets I've seen.

Thanks.  I may put together a mini-release at some point that just implements the same categorization of rocks, for those who don't use graphics sets, if there's any demand for it.  I think there's enough spare tiles in the tileset to do it without stepping on any toes.  I would be able to integrate that one with ModBase pretty easily.

Human Nobles are done.  Just need to figure out a good design for the Druid.

hi there

looks really cool, but i always get the error "one of the compressed files has errors in it" when i try to use it. other tilesets work just fine. am i missing something?

Yeah, I did human nobles for sphr set for myself but yours are better (except for 1 or 2 which I particularly like in my set).
These are mine:



(They are made for nords though, that's why they have white hair and women have long plaits; I haven't come up with a hammerer yet, and they don't use this tile in the game).

The only complaint about your nobles: women are too skinny :), I'm pretty sure a woman of high rank should be fat enough to represent good feeding :). Jk.

And civillian elves are fitting. Cool. I use the same warrior elves' tiles.

I like your king and queen much better than mine, do you mind if I use them?  There are a couple of others that I like better as well (my Dungeon Master still needs work), but the nordic style means they don't quite match the rest of the set.

I've included the Hammerer for use by any Human Fortress mods.   I've never tried it, but I would  assume that there's something equivalent to the Hammerer.

With these sets I am also trying to keep  in mind the possibility of encountering the descendents of prisoners in roles that their species normally cannot fill.

As per my modifications to the original post, and my signature, I have uploaded this to DFFD.  I'm removing the download link from my website today (and probably complaining to my host, since this shouldn't be stressing it out in the slightest).

Elven professions are proceeding quite well.  Once I've finished all of them and Deon lets me know about using his human king and queen, I will release another update.

Which won't work, obviously. The graphics set looks good, comparable to Mayday (my favorite). I'll try it out once I have time to go back and edit all of the raw files you include so my mods work with them.
