Actually combat reports in fortress mode is on the "todo list" for a long time. Thankfully it's gonna be implemented finally.  :)

Huh, turns out I'm still playing version .40a where this doesn't manifest. Guess I'll upgrade and await the flood of errors.

I read it as having necrotic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrosis, note: picture might disturb some people) venoms, which are really hideous.

That is a very impressive list of things for the next release. I can't wait!

And I always get a huge kick out of seeing some of my suggestions implemented.  8)

Actually, incorporation of the undead is going to take some thinking. Are skeletons going to have the tissues of the base creature flayed to the second last layer to make skeletons, for example? Then exoskeletal creatures would just end up being jelly, so maybe there would have to be a [ROT] tag for materials indicating that it will decay for the purposes of being undead.

Arbitrary material breath weapons? Cool.
Lets see that gives us icebreath, firebreath and a dozen different maiming poison breathes. No lightning yet but tis certainly enough to be going on with    :)

...Damn, Toady, you never do anything halfway, do you?  Or even merely all the way, or twice the way.  This is tentimesway.

I'm stunned and awed.  The new squad mechanics are the last thing I expected and one of the things I really want...the new underground stuff and more attacks make me so happy...and I'm even thrilled about ROPE now!

Ha! Such limited imagination! Consider Blood-breath, Gold Vapor-Breath, and expelling flaming guts out at the speed of sound-breath. Also, Beef-breath, bone dust breath, and water breath. So much potential.
