Dwarves don't eat or drink out of utensils so there's no reason for a poisonous stone or wood mug or bowl to do anything right now.  As for picking up a rock or a log...well, unless there's a system for giving that rock a coating of whatever poison it's supposed to have, you might be out of luck.

Lead wouldn't really get into the liquid unless it was somewhat corrosive or if it constantly flowed.

Warlord: poisons themselves will certainly have a material, and since all materials will be in the raws, you should be able to take the tags from poison materials and stick them on whatever else.  That's just speculation but I can't imagine how else he'd do it.  Also, if you have a question for Toady rather than a suggestion, you're more likely to get it answered in the "List of remaining items" or FotF thread.
