6: you melt the chains easily enough... but you are now [3] being scalded ever so slightly. the white-hot metal pains you a lot, but as any fire-user knows, the first thing you took classes for in the Mountainhomes was heat negation. you attempt to cast this spell [1] but only make the metal worse!
