Because of Dwarf Fortress, I learned what the true meaning of the phrase "power corrupts" is.

This game gives a lot of power to the player.

Cleaning up after an eviction yesterday, and my first thought on the piles of clothes and roaches they left behind was "these wrestlers had strange pets."
