^^ I'm only now beginning to recover from this. There comes a time when you realize that all forums usually just go round and round with the same topics, new versions and community games excepted. :P

^^same, but I haven't experienced the cycle cycle. Therefore I stay here and have fun while waiting for new games and updates to be released.

I often have dwarf fortress dreams, in typical dwarf fortress pseudo-ASCII. I just lay there and work on something all night and wake up not exactly sure what it was.

So you dream in ASCII? That is only the first step down the road. Soon you will start seeing ASCII all over the world. 8)

I never started dreaming in pure ASCII. I've had a dream that involved the entirety of DF gameplay once, but even though everything was arranged in neat little blocks it was in full 3D with my mind compensating for the visuals. Sometimes my dream would include a little mini-map in ASCII, presumably to help me navigate... I don't remember dreams very well, unforunately.

Because of DF, I have a purpose in life; rocks!

I occasionally have dreams about trying to design a cyan-colored megaproject so I can do something with all that microcline.

Because of Dwarf Fortress, I was playing Evil Genius.

haha, OK, there's more to it than that.

I was playing Evil Genius, which I'd picked up a while ago(curse you, Steam, and your sales!), but just played last night and I went to designate a corridor in my underground base by pressing 'd' on my keyboard.

I was playing StarCraft the other day and tried to build a pylon with the 'b' key. Turns out it's a legitimate hotkey in the game.
