graphics for a laptop
« on: February 15, 2009, 08:09:55 pm »

can anyone tell me how to get the default graphics set to look nice and sharp (and all on the screen) for a 12" laptop?

preferably, I'd like a copy of the graphic section in your init.txt

What is your laptop screen's native resolution?

Simple solution: Run in windowed mode.  That way you can do other things.

1024x768 is the resolution

and I have it in window mode, but about a third of it is off the screen.

The default init sets the graphics as small as it will possibly go. It should look fine on that resolution.

If you are using 40d, check if your init looks the same as this:

Specifically the top and bottom of this section:

If your init looks the same, you may want to double check what resolution you are running at.

Good luck!
