Wth? Where the hell?
ThtblovesDF:
So where the hell are those files you guys edit left and right?
Say i want to make a creature [NO:Eat] or so, like my dwarfs.
I looked through basicly evry single file in my df. Folder, most of them just contain stuff looking like that:

So with what should I open files and where do I find the onces that actually descripe a creature?
Mephansteras:
df\raw\objects
For dwarves, you need to look at creatures_standard.txt.

Your tag is incorrect, its [NO_EAT]. First of all, ALL CAPS. CAPS IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR RAWS.
secondly, you might want to add other [NO_***] tags. Look in the wiki for them all

Everything you'll need to know and then some.
Creature tokens are under... Creature tokens, oddly enough.

Hahahah! That should be in the wiki.
Yeah, you stumbled into def/data/objects, sort of the compiled version of the raws I suspect. For optimal effect, delete the contents of the data/objects folder after you do your editing. They'll be recreated each time DF starts. I think this can cure certain issues associated with modding existing things; I do it just to be safe.
