What do we think, after a couple of days, of the changes that Toady made to these forums.

Personally, I find the ability for me to lock or move my own threads very nice.
On the other hand, there is a lot of different areas for me to look at now.

I'll admit, the way I was chanting "DON'T CHANGE! DON'T CHANGE!" was a bit irrational after all, seeing as how everything turned out alright.

Leave it to Toady to do no wrong.

How do you move and lock threads? I never figured it out.

I really like the way the forums are now.

And you can find those functions in the bottom left of the page in one of your threads.

Bottom-left corner of any page in a topic you made.

I like the fact that we now have a "serious business" subforum.  I'm also glad that we got the ability to lock our own topics.  Now, if we could just get an "ignore user" function, this place would be just about perfect.

Wow, thanks, Fishers!

I just noticed, if you try to post in an old thread, it says 'this thread hasn't been posted in for more than 120 days.' The forum tries to stop necroing!
