« on: July 10, 2009, 07:50:39 pm »

I just saw that come up on a world I'm genning up. How dare they! Do they even know who they are? I was going to DF mode my first game, but those Forest Dwarves need to be put down in adventurer first.

when the world is done genning...

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

I'm relativly sure this happens when the dwarves go in and take over an elf site... or the elves beat the dwarves and have POW's...

If 1: don't do anything

If 2: kill em' all

Well, I'm assuming the dwarves took over the elves, but that doesn't excuse them. They die tonight.

Wait, wait, wait. Don't do anything rash. You do know what occupying races do to forest retreats right? They cut down the trees and build houses/keeps/etc.

At least humans do. Just check out the site before enacting your righteous crusade.

Elves are usless hippies. So are enviormentalist IRL. The dwarves taking over elves is good for all us players(my wood industry will not be drawn back by some tree huggers!)

Why we'll do it the dwarvern way! We'll build a massive aqueduct system for magma spanning across the world for the specific reason of destroying the settlement

 :D

What we really need are Adventurer skills, so we, by ourselves, can build such an aqueduct of magma!

Yes, you should always apply more magma.

If you're going to make them trainable, you might as well make them amphibious and/or fliers too.
