The mainproblem i see is that tim had the combination to his fathers weapon-bin. Even more frightening was that some of the farthers weapons as well as a good part of the ammonition was not secured in said bin as far as i heard from the media.

"Inappropriate" is a matter of context. It is appropriate for people to say ridiculous things on 4chan, as 4chan exists for the purpose of saying ridiculous things.

Yes. It's an imageboard. That's a technical detail and says nothing about the culture surrounding it. You're comparing the type of site it is to the type of people who are on it and the type of behavior they engage in, and that is BS.

Strange, the chan boards usually state they exist to exchange images and not to display idiotic behaviour. So yeah, it's perfectly valid to hold the intention of the site against the "culture" surrounding it.

Seriously though, how are 4channers "misplaced"? 4chan internet culture, as a community, is pretty ridiculous by design. It's just how it is. Saying that people are misplaced for belonging to a community which acts the same way as them is kind of ridiculous.
