No problem, glad it was something as simple as missing documentation rather than a code bug.  It's much easier to add documentation :D

Haha awesome, totally didn't see it coming =)

Only two things I would change:  show stone stock and take out the pause when instructed to sell.

SO, what exactly determines when you die? I see no health meter, and it isn't energy either..
I keep dying long before energy runs out, and also sometimes died shortly after I bought medicine

EDIT: oh nvm, see it now
got killed by cave-ins

energy = health indeed

Oh hey, you're back!

So any chance you'll be making that ED2 you talked about?

Been working on ED2. It's a much more involved project and now I'm back to school working on a Master's degree. So expect it eventually, but not soon :D

Saved it; I'll check it out later.

Is it a roguelike?

Not quite. It is in ASCII, but all that you can do as of now is dig rock. No monsters, no items, just you and rock. Anyway, as far as suggestions:

1) Add in a 'previous messages' list. Sometimes I'm digging so fast I miss exactly which rock gave me 150 and which gave me 5. It would be nice to go back and look.

2) Gem clusters and metal veins, obviously. I know gems are sort of in the game, but they seem random(I get gems when digging through normal rock, and I haven't noticed any difference between which ones are more or less likely to give gems).

3) Archived history, so you can go back and see what rocks sold for what. Sort of like 1.

4) Tileset.

Excellent suggestions. Adding in support for a tileset may be difficult, but it is something I want to do, so I'll look into refactoring for that.  Keeping track of old messages should be trivial, as well as providing a sales sheet.

Different kinds of rock (metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary) have different sets of gems in them, but that's all the more precise I got for ED1.  One of the driving factors of ED2 is to move that closer to realism and add in a visual clue to the availability of gems.
