This looks neat - i'll be giving it a try.

Eh?  That shouldn't be happening...  I wonder why.

I had a few things I wanted to update, but I didn't get around to it...  I might be able to finish off the Roariron turn today, and then I'll have a couple extra timeslots open for stuff.

And to think I was actually gonna use that time for myself...  HA!

Anyways, I'll look into it.  No idea why it might be happening, but try poking them a few times regarding wares and see what turns up.

As for an acceptable cave/chasm creature: imps?
Not fire imps, mind you, but normal imps.
They are little demons that can walk and fly..

This mod has been abandoned.  I just can't get the time or motivation to work on it right now, and interest was never really that high to begin with.

I hereby initiate a petition for revival of this mod/idea for the upcoming releases.

Should be interesting to strip out tons of stuff from the upcoming version.  I just have to be careful not to go crazy adding in new stuff like I did last time.  I was blending my mods...

To get this mod to work in the latest version, I just copied over the matgloss and reaction files, and left the rest to their unmodded defaults. It seems to work okay, though I haven't played it very much this version.

By the way: I think this mod is absolutely great. One of my biggest peeves is that metals and especially flux are "all or nothing": your fort is either overflowing with them, or you have none at all. And orthoclase, microcline, talc, etc seem to "push out" the useful metals, leading to entire z-levels devoid of anything useful. Having all metals in all forts, with the less valuable ones more common just makes so much more sense. Thank you for this mod, Kagus!

I think the concept is great, but I actually prefer getting pissed off when I find a huge cluster full off Olivine or Orthoclase or whatever, so I don't really mind.

Well, as it is now, it's possible to hit a cluster of limestone...  Which is an aquifer.

Now that's something to put a damper on your fortress layout...  Half-pun not really intended.

The vermin and clothing distillations were also "high points", but I think they might have made things a little too "simple" for people.  I was also relatively proud of the tree clumping.  I don't believe I got around to working plants out the way I wanted to, but that's a tricky subject anyways...

I suppose I could just leave it as a mineral simplicity mod, if folks prefer.  The exact opposite of what Sean's been working on...  Heh.

Fuck Olivine. Fuck it with a rusty pickaxe that menaces with spikes of obsidian.

When it comes to stone that's colored, but has no other use, I definitely have to agree.
