Where's the good graphics verion of Dwarf Forteress?

I would like to know. By this, I mean the better graphics version, which has simple 8-bit graphics for dwarves and tress and stuff. Please point me in the right direction.

You be looking for the graphics sets. I think the Wiki is a good start in the right direction. Sadly, that's all I can say on the matter - I prefer ASCII. :)

I don't like mismatched styles so I only use sphr's graphics.

Yeah, his set is also excellent...hm while we are at it, I am wondering that what happened to sphr. He has disappeared from the forum.

Actually I ran across a recent post from sphr just the other day. I was kind of relieved to be honest. I have also seen Sean Mirrsen posting in the future of the fortress thread. Good to see a couple of local legends still around!
