I bet dismembered limbs will not be replaceable by doctors.

Urist Austin, Axedwarf.  A dwarf barely alive.  Gentledwarves, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic dwarf. Urist Austin will be that dwarf. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Sigg'd for great lulz.

You guys are all sick, wonder how stuck ins are now going to be handled or atleast in the future.
If it's a through and through, they'll undergo mental conditioning that makes them fight their natural urges and want to run up and hug the treehuggers.

...but they should have used lubricant in the first place. Sticking it in without lubricant would be rather painful.

There are three things I know about dwarves:
1. They've got beards. Even the women.
2. They're short. Especially the women.
3. They're Scottish.

This is a Adamantine Dwarven Mechanical Arm. All craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. It menaces with spikes of blue diamond and is decorated with hanging rings of elf bone, goblin bone, human bone, and carp bone. On it is an engraving of Firefire Killslaughter the Demon and Urist McChampion in demon bone. Firefire is in a fetal position. Urist is laughing.
...
Dorf replacement limbs would be awesome.

Hopefully, Toady'll get to this sooner rather than later:

Bloat35, PROSTHETIC LIMBS, (Future): Prosthetic limbs, could be fitted to individuals. Could be improved with hooks and so on.
Quote
PowerGoal45, MEET THE CYBERFIST, (Future): You use your iron geared prosthetic hand to crush a piece of stone in front of the cowering goblin, and it passes out.

"Ingol Unge'gbokbon has Seized the Prosthetic Shop!!"

Followed soon by...

"Ingol Unge'gbokbon has created Migrurled "Ocean Racks" an Adamantine Peg Leg!"

Later you see an amputee veteran of the Goblin invasion tearing around the fort on his masterful new leg.

Yes... this needs to happen.

Knowing Armok's fates, later that season you would get "Urist Austin has enetered a fey mood!", and he would seize a craftdwarf's workshop and start demanding Star Rubies.

Oh.. shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit...

That's ridiculous, we all know he would demand glass on a map without sand.

Oh, I have my plans for the next version.

Actually, it really depends on how much of the new code has already been released. Who has the link to the new creature code?

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Whadduya mean by "new creature code"? Assuming you mean raws, the latest thing I know of is this.

I have an unconscious dwarf who is missing the entire bottom half of his body (hips and below) and has a mangled throat.

Heal that.

Screenshots, please. That is not possible without him dying instantly.
