I think if some people share, there's plenty of water for awhile.

I'm just waiting on Jay's reply and then we can start.

You now have a captain!

We will begin shortly.

Docking Bay outside a Kradellian 307 Freighter

You all find yourselves in a hangar just outside your yet-to-be-named Kradellian 307 Freighter. You all purchased some supplies after the ship landed at a starport on the planet Durgen, in the Hiros star system. As the ship entered the planets atmosphere, you all caught a glimpse of the surface: Pale green grasslands dotted with agri-centers, small farms, and trees.

Agentar starport is small, but none the less busy. It has room to house and service a few dozen starships and sees moderate traffic. The surrounding area is mostly housing and tourist business located along the crowded access ways. Signs indicate that there are shops, a local Terran Alliance military branch, and a refueling depot. Another sign tells that there is planetary commnet access.

I take off and search for a debris field or some such, making sure to not get too far away from the planet. I also put my water in the water tank.

I'll try to figure out how to work the ships short-comm system.

I'll tinker about with whatever junk we have in the hold, or whatever we may find.  I'm trying to get the basic form of a ship's weapon, designing how I can build one with what we have.

Change of plans, since we're already on the planet, I'll drop my stuff off in the ship before it takes off, and then look about the town for a place to do some gambling.

I'll stare nervously at the astronav controls before putting my water in the water tank and watching as we head for a debris field.

Arrighty, Turn 1!

Org -
Ill search the ship, to find out controls, and look for anything important, and put my supplies in there.
You begin your search the ship. Easily locating the consoles in the control room, you search the vessel for items of import.
[10] Inside an open locker in the crew quarters, you find 150 credits stashed away. You leap for joy and dive into the locker to claim your treasure. Unfortunately, you end up trapping yourself inside.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Cpt. Jay Kayell -
I take off and search for a debris field or some such, making sure to not get too far away from the planet. I also put my water in the water tank.
You head to the mess hall and deposit your water supply. Apparently, its not as easy as it would seem  [4]  and you accidentally spill 10 units. The water tank now reads (62/200). After situating yourself at the helm, you begin launch procedures. [9] The launch goes off without a hitch and you pilot the ship into Durgen's orbit. The central monitor flashes: .5 unit(s) chemical fuel consumed. You then begin your search for space junk. [4] - 3(no one actively scanning) = 1 Unfortunately, you are unable to find any trace of debris within visual range.

From your perfect takeoff you gained 1 xp toward intermediate Pilot: Medium Spacecraft!
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Katsuun -
I'll try to figure out how to work the ships short-comm system.
[9] + 1 (improved intelligence) = 10 You tinker with the comm system, discovering that its effective range is 5 distance. You also find an intercom function allowing broadcast from the control room to any room in the ship. Unfortunately, in your enthusiasm for learning, you accidentally broadcast the ship's location 5 distance in all directions.

You gained 1 xp toward basic Scanner/Comm Tech!
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Frelock -
Change of plans, since we're already on the planet, I'll drop my stuff off in the ship before it takes off, and then look about the town for a place to do some gambling.
You [9] store your gear in a locker, deciding to keep some rations and water, and pass-lock it. You then disembark and search for a gambling establishment.
[2] You fail to find a casino or even a few farmers playing astro-craps. You soon discover that betting is illegal on Durgen due to a gambling craze some time in the past. You look sadly at your credits and then up to your freighter, which is blasting into orbit.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)
Note: Sorry, just realized this. You need to also pick a Ship Weapons focus, located in the skills list in the first post.

inaluct -
I'll stare nervously at the astronav controls before putting my water in the water tank and watching as we head for a debris field.
You stare wistfully at the navcomputer [8] noticing nothing out of the ordinary. You then walk to the mess hall and [5] slowly pour your water supplies into the tank which now reads (102/200). You then head back to the control room and stare out the main viewport, seeing a whole lot of nothing as Cpt. Kayell did.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

"Doc" aka Emperor_Johnathan -
Put my stuff in the hold and go to sleep.
[7] You head off to put your items in the hold but think better of it.
You instead store your gear in a crew locker except the medical apparatus, which you decide you'll set up after you try to sleep for a bit. [10] You lay out a cot, lie down and almost instantly fall into a deep sleep.

Locations

Kradellian 307 Freighter
Spoiler: Ship Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Systems (click to show/hide)
Rooms

Control Room Occupants: Cpt. Jay Kayell (at the helm), Katsuun (at the scan/comm system console), inaluct (at the navcomputer).
Here is where most of the ships controls, consoles, and readouts are located. Located on the far left are both the flight control console and navcomputer. To the right is the scanner and comm station. There is a cargo hatch/space claw control panel next to the comm station. A monitor above the exit hatch details the ship's status and can display information from the four consoles.

Mess Hall / Lounge
This room contains a few dirty tables and chairs throughout. To the mid-left is a basic cooking unit and storage boxes along with a water tank that reads (102/200).

Quarters Occupants: Org (inside a locker), Doc (sleeping on a cot).
Spoiler: Org's Locker (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Frelock's Locker (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Doc's Locker (click to show/hide)

Practically empty save for a few lockers and cots leaned up against the walls.

Ladder between Upper and Lower Levels

Exit Hatch

Maintenance Access
Small crawl spaces to allow access to power relays and other systems.

Storage Room / Cargo Hatch
The largest room of the ship and also the most empty. There is nothing here save for a large hatch in the floor which is remotely controlled.

A moderately busy street near the docking bays, Agentar Starport, Durgen. Occupants: Frelock (looking disappointed), moderate pedestrian traffic, light ground vehicle traffic.

A few short buildings line the street as various people and vehicles seek their destinations.

In Orbit Above Durgen Occupants: a Kradellian 307 Freighter.

The only thing visible aside from the deeps of space and the planet itself is Durgen's moon, Giren. The moon seems to be mostly barren but it seems to have a thin, pinkish colored atmosphere

From orbit the day side of Durgen is visible. Its surface is mainly yellow-green in color with a few small oceans and mountain ranges. A few settlements are also visible.

Finally finished, that took longer than I expected.

For future reference please refrain from posting more than reasonable actions and think long and hard before posting as I think I'm going to write up results as people post their actions.

Lastly, sorry if the format is cruddy.

I look around for someone who might need some hauling done within the system.  Moderately illegal stuff ok by me (like hauling contraband), but not things that are going to make us traitors of the state (like supplying any local rebels).
