While I use as my main browser, I will occasionally use IE 8, and it's really not that bad.

Woose isn't using IE8

He is using-*Shudder*-IE6.

You can make "themes" for it (which could turn out to be both DF and cheese related if you like).

IE8, as much as I don't like browser wars, was horribly disappointing. Firefox 2.0 was faster than IE8 on my machine.

Chrome: you really can't tell if google is spying on you.

Safari: eh. It's alright.

I tried Firefox and set it up so it looked exactly like IE6, but found that I couldn't make File-Edit-View-...etc go on the top left instead of to the right of refresh. So I deleted it =/

If anyone does know how to make File-Edit-...etc go on the top left of firefox, above the back button, then show me and you'll have recruited another to the fanatical Firefox horde.

I think you just right click the top tool bar and fool with customization. It's at the top left for me by default.

In Firefox Ctrl+0 will change the text size back to normal if you're having trouble getting it back with the mouse wheel.

I tried customization, it refuses to do anything at all with the File-Edit... bar. It won't even let you remove it.

Now that I know it's at least possible, I'll fiddle around with stuff until I eventually figure it out.

I think mine came with file, edit, view, history etc above my back button.
