The only thing on my pc that was worth paying for was Windows XP professional.
There is no better OS.

But anyway, from beta testing so far, 7 is FAR MORE EFFICIENT than even XP itself! So yeah. Not everything about Vista is balls.

Back on topic. In Firefox, it saves your textboxes whenever you press back or forward. So when you return, the textbox is still as you left it.

I do not recall such a feature in IE. Accidental backspacing in Firefox is nothing to dread.

Vista does have some nice new features, and with my performance-mania at work, it runs plenty fast enough.

Haven't tried linux on comparable hardware tho.

Re: IE: I'm using IE8 right now, and it's a mix of bad and good compared to 7. It has a few interesting new features, but there's a coulple of anoyances too... Never really tried any other browser.

Care to explain? I am using IE 7 currently, and I never ever had any problems with it. So is there any point in upgrading?
