this has the potential to be incredibly dwarfish, how about something like

!!Pig Tail Shirt!!

with designs of flames around it?

something like that...

to the bat-cave!

yes, I'm sure everyone wants teal t-shirts (hehehe)

ok so far we have

not cafepress (I don't know enough about all the options)
possibly threadless
poooooosssibly some heroic DF players silkscreening at home? (I've done it in high school art classes before...)

simple designs

dwarf face logo (possibly with losing is fun on the back or something?)

☼Cotton Screen Printed T-Shirt☼ with its provenance

I'll bring this up again. Doesn't just have to be T-shirts. Think... comic prints of well loved DF comics, posters
fan made plushies (of c shapes) can anybody make anything out of sculpy?

or we could have people ask for representations in sculpy or drawings or whatever of their favorite dwarves, fortresses or artifacts.

I wouldn't want for the practice of posting those to be less prolific, but maybe it could happen if people wanted to commission them and have a nice quality representation.

I know Andrew Hussie (MSPaintAdventures) deals with TopatoCo.  Their pricing is a bit high, or it seems to be for me, but nobody has ever complained about the quality.

O.K. so long as we have ideas floating around, we are going to need an ACTION MAN! Or Woman, as far as things go I'm neither of those, I'm just an idea person.

So who would have the commitment to do such a thing?

And a concrete idea we have is-

hows about a set of the possible toys In DF? toy warhammers should be easy, just be a cast,
mini-forges, slightly harder, but still feasible and the other small figurines should be quite good.

Another idea, metal figurines, (or plastic, whichever is cheaper, and better. preferably pewter) of the "cast" of DF, engravers, masons, gem-cutters, nobles hanging on a rope over a magma pit, a small tablet with a random engraving in it.

theres a LOT of market potential to be had with DF.

I love how it's this excited declaration about something that's actually a minor annoyance. Oh great... teal stone...

ok here's one idea if anyone wants to donate money right now and is interested in art... come on here and say "I'll pay X amount of $$$ for this kind of artwork at least uploaded to this thread and if they want to pay more send it to them in some nice printed form. When this person is satisfied with the results from the community they can donate the money or something.

I don't know... JUST GIVE MONEY TO TOADY ALREADY.  hehehe....

but seriously people start with your requests and offers.

I may even get in on the drawing although I'm not that great.

I just realized that you can already ask for art from toady  when donating. I just know he and his brother don't have infinite time and the point of this is to generate further community participation and more money for Toady.
