Just remind yourself that radiation is the number one source of superpowers.

I doubt it'd cause more cancer anyway. It kills things or makes them horribly messed up. Which doesn't always mean cancer, but it definitely stops them :P

An uncle of mine had radiation treatments for pancreatic cancer.  I think he played golf the next day.  Unless you are already sickly, or your treatment is being handled in North Korea, you should do well.

How horrible would you feel if he had the flu or was in North Korea?

You'll be fine, dude.

I had a torn retina that was getting worse(to the point where everything in my left eye was a grey blur) and the mere thought of having my eye cut open and fucked around with caused me to panic.

But it really wasn't that bad, and radiation therapy is pretty damn safe these days. It's not like we just discovered radiation and are blasting you for kicks. You're being handled by professionals with years of experience, so don't worry about it. You'll be fine.  :)

And if zombies break down the hospital door as shit is goin' down, you get to blast zombies with radiation.

On a more serious note, you'll be okay. Good luck.  :)

Well, that sounds nightmarish. Blindness is is way up there on my list of horrible things that I don't want to happen to me ever.

Did you get to wear an eyepatch with a laser on it?

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments. Today I was supposed to start treatment but they cancelled so we drove two hours for nothing  :P . It wasn't all bad though, I did get to go golfing with my dad  ;D . Tomorrow I go back down to start treatment and every weekday therafter for two weeks. Again thanks for all the positive comments and yes, I would like to zap zombies with radiation.

I wonder what Dwarvish radiation therapy would look like.
Probably a throne made of pitchblende.

Radiation is teh awesomes. You have nothing to worry about in todays modern medicine hospitals. We've come far from the days of liking irradiated paintbrushes, trust me. Good luck with the treatment!
