I hate the Minecraft forums. It's the single most resource intensive site I've ever seen.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

When I checked back on them recently, they had literally dozens of boards and so much posting that it's impossible to find anything good in the heaps of crap.

Also, they apparently have a rule against profanity now to pwotect the twewve-yeaw-owds or something. Fucking hell, if they had that shit when I was there I would have gotten my damn ass banned even more than I did.

So it's okay to harass someone for months with empty threats of legal action, as long as you don't swear while doing so? Okay then.

Let's just be happy that it's not as bad as the Kongregate forums

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

That could indicate most of the Minecraft drama tbh. Curse mods actively encouraged the license bullshit, going as far as requiring every mod have one, which completely fucked the mod scene if it wasn't before.

The Minecraft modding scene is friggin' weird in general though.

Why. Why.
Do they actively hate the community? Did they each get a penny lodged in their skulls? Are they actually geese trying to pose as humans but without understanding the nuances of human behaviour? Or are they just regular morons?

What?
They encouraged completely unbackable (due to a few things, including wording in the Minecraft EULA (ie mods technically belong to Mojang, not the mod author)) licensing because... I don't know. I genuinely don't. There isn't a need for it.
Once again, what.
Do you have, like, a link or something?
