BTW, don't applaud the pilot after the landing, only Tourists and Noobs do that  ;D
Unless you get one of those comedy pilots that basically does a stand up routine during the flight. If that happens and other people are applauding, it's probably a good idea.

Or if he saves you by landing on a river.

Or if he saves you by landing on a river.

Look at that example, the plane had a one-in-several-billion string of failures, yet everyone still survived.

I'm kind of worried. Any advice?

You shouldn't worry. Aircrafts are safe. Some fun stuff:

Q: What are the chances of dying in a plane crash?
A: The odds of being killed on a single trip in an airliner accident is 52.6 million to 1. The odds are lower for smaller aircraft. If the plane is involved in a fatal crash, there is a 2 in 3 chance of dying.

What is comforting is that the flight is only about 1 hour plus. When I get back I plan to do a Let's Play of a neat little game. If man can go to the moon I can survive a little plane ride.

Bad news people. I kind of enjoyed the flight  :(

The city was great. School looked fantastic. And seeing the Earth from thousands of feet in the air is something that will never get old.

I've only flown twice in my life: once out to California, and then the return trip. On the return I saw lightning under the plane. That was nerve-wracking.

I'm of the opinion that flying to any place is cheating because you skip all of the stuff in between. Of course, I've driven out west twice and have a severe and unending case of wanderlust.

I've been in a two seater plane before with some pilot guy.  It was quite fun, even though a slight wind blew us across a state.

I love planes, at one point I was actually gonna go and become a (commerical) pilot but I'm not a big fan of jets.

Gotta love small prop planes though, good fun. Been up a few times in a Cessna.

I have seen a plane crash in person though, This One, Specifically
