USB wireless mouse synchronizing woes
« on: May 26, 2009, 03:44:32 pm »

It's a logitech something... hold on let me look for a picture

It looks like this
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Note right now that I am surfing the web using the right side of my computers shell. I can not tell you right now how silly this looks, please help me Bay12, I hate looking stupid. ;_;

As of now I rebooted my computer three times, used all five different ports of my computer got rid of this Wii remote next to my computer that was somehow on, attempted to resynchronize the mouse via the two buttons on the bottom a countless number of times and am even considering how I would use the mouse like this for the rest of my life!

How old is the mouse? Are the batteries old?

I have a logitech usb mouse that has a little transmitter that plugs in, not an actual usb stick. It's fairly old now and I have to keep the mouse near the transmitter and vice versa for it to work.

The mouse is a year old, the batteries are fairly brand new. Now how does this help me?

I doesn't help you because those are obviously not the problem. Those two issues have both given me problems similar to yours in the past so I thought it might've been the case here.

Thanks for the supreme courtesy.

Actually I am glad that you did not immediately help me.

Because now I have come to the conclusion that my mouse is self aware and a masochist to add to that fact. As much as I hate to, giving a good smack to it makes it want(?) to work properly.

That's a naughty mouse you got there.

It works faster if I smack it in the back of it's battery port. :-[
