I can't just imagine in which situation did you think to get lions, but got a Night Creature actually? Never seen them attacking in fast travel mode (except regular Bogeymen, of cause). Just curious :)

I've gotten assaulted by night beasts in .18 i think it was, but none since then. Needless to say, my adventurer did not function afterwards.

Also, dorfen cooking.

How else can they mix up such ingredients into a single entity?

I always saw them as just throwing all the ingredients on a (never cleaned) kitchen counter and then kinda mushing it all together with their hands into something that resembles a single mass.

Bodyslam must be what the legendaries do.

I think I got a Night Creature as an ambush in fast travel. I think the odds are just low since you'd have to be in the right area when an ambush triggers.
It was a while ago though so I can't remember much more than that I died horribly and that it concentrated on me over some wild animal that was attacking it.

Then again I may have just had the bad luck to spawn a 1 lion ambush in the exact same place as a Night creature.

That would explain how they can churn out masterpieces at such a staggering rate, while novices spend days mashing together something that is of NO QUALITY. This would mean that higher skill levels are achieved when dorfs stumble and fall on to the plate, accidentally creating a masterpiece.

NinjaE8825 now I will always see kobolds look like on your drawing :D

Please do the same on Goblins...
Well, basically, goblins are like elves, except insane and murderous.
Okay, so they're actually exactly like elves.

Well, goblins don't really eat things, but if they did, they'd definitely eat people. But if we're gonna talk tiny differences like that, they're also less hairy and have glowing red eyes and green skin and use metal and steal children and fix their overpopulation problems by killing each other rather than launching suicide attacks on civilizations with better equipment.

I want to see moar drawings of this scene by moar people.

I'll contribute.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I don't recall what snow lions look like, so I just used regular lions.

Pure genius. This drawing made my may 28th, 2011.

New open request: Draw an extremely tired dwarf wielding a hammer and a battle axe walking into a village and suddenly realizing he has no backpack and there's a wolf paw stuck on his upper front tooth. A single panel will do, but for a DwarfBonus make it several panels. MegaDwarf bonus: make a graphic novel out of it, deconstructing modern western fantasy tropes in a real world setting, and call it WatchDwarves*.

*when I typed that I immediately had to make this:
