Generally safe, but not guaranteed safe? I wish I had done it anyway; I jumped blind in the first place and didn't expect a save on the way down. Would've made a better story if I followed through.

When you're naked it tends to be more risky but you will probably just get bruises since they tend to get the worse of it when you land.

I wasn't naked at the time, but as an outsider human I did start out that way, so it's not completely inaccurate.

To leap out of a tree naked. This is considered one of the most natural things in the world. But to land on someone, well that's acrobatic. And somehow elven. Perhaps gnomish, too.

His pose makes him look like he's twerking while he's bodysurfing, just to add that extra taunt to the vampire

An epic death in dwarf fortress :

I ate too much badger intestines, so I felt nauseous. Then I tried to cross a river, retched, vomited and drowned.

They just sat there watching too.

It will be nice when we can haul people around, being able to drag a companion out of a river would be cool, BEING dragged out by a companion? I'm making them a damn hero and lord somewhere forever!

so while testing out how crazy can you set up a modded fort with a bunch of small animal creatures who can't pick up said pick and 1 normal human adventurer who migrated there.
I figured I set up my Drunk barfly-catcher (cage traps near chairs and areas where a guest would order a drink) and put those caged humans to good use.
by hanging them all in a willow tree to gaze out into open mountain top, and probably freeze to death.
thinking about going one step further using my adventurer to lure would be entertainers/companions to the fort to be place in the tree.

After drawing a few elven outlaws out of my beloved forest retreat, I climbed up the home tree to report to my queen, the fair Liyìÿi Semaaweme. She asked me to put an end to this evil. I needed to travel to Crowsplash, their retreat, hidden in the Jungle of Harvesters. A long journey to the south awaited me, through human realms and deep woods.

So that's what an elf queen looks like before I show up.

...afterwards they're generally delimbed, flying through the air, toothless, blind, earless, on fire, gutted, barfing, or some combination of those.

The bitch sent me in an empty forest retreat. I wasted my time looking for the bad guys for days. You're right, one can't trust those pointy ears bastards. Plus, they make you draw cheesy cute little drawings with nice colors, with neither blood nor vomit.

I'm gonna retire this stupid elf and go with the good ol' badass axeman.
