I say we give one of the picks to a peasant with a sword, thus making him a miner. This miner plus the other one will start expanding upon the cove, making defensive notches in the wall from which the pirates can shoot from in case we come under fire. Also look at the pirate ship for Cannons in which we could use to place on the newly built defensive areas.

Ozymandias will take the titan and 20 of the greks(land)  who are wielding swords in the pirate ship North, along the shore. We are searching for another town other than the Grek town we came upon earlier.

We take the pirate ship after inspecting it for weapons.

MEANWHILE

The Dwarf King pulled his axe from the dead Elven Noble.

"Fucken elves."

His small band of warriors surrounded him, 3 marksdwarves and 3 swordsdwarves. He looked to the north, to home. In the stifling forests of the elves homes, he turned to his companions.

"Come, let us get to our great and bright city before the murderous, dirty elves do. The stifling influence of the elves has forced us to befriend the goblins that once slaughtered our warriors, made slaves of our people and stole our children."

Thus the great Warrior King strode north, to his great mountain home, towards his people in the barren tundra of the north. His garment was simple, but steel armor. His weapon, a great large axe made from a magical ice blend known only to few. As he marched the King put a hand into the pouch by his side and took out a small morsel of food.

He bit into the crumpet with hunger.

You stand upon your wall and look out upon the great cavern. It is gigantic, stretching for miles from end to another.

This is to be your capital, the beginnings of a new kingdom, the beginning of a new age. You turn around and survey the small town you built. Five small, wooden houses surround a stone path. A small tavern is there also, filled with tables and chairs. The whole town is surrounded by a sturdy stone wall. From the north the rest of your people travel south to meet you in this cavern.

What do you do?

The larger map is abstracted, only one ship can travel in a square, however several can dock in one square. The shoreside coloured-in face symbol is the jetty, and the outline-face symbol is the town.

The Dwarves trudged through the muddy undergrowth of the dense and wild jungle. Hacking and slashing the king led the way, the last few weeks had been tough. But the dwarves were tougher. They came to a small clearing in the forest, the sky above was darkening. They quickly set up simple shelters and a small fire to cook meat. Before the sun was down, however, a human rider came upon the camp. His horse was bred for speed and he traveled light.

"Dwarf King." He announced, surveying the dwarves. The king got up and strode to the rider. "Give it up, king. We found your peoples bolts at the murder scene. Come with me peacefully and your people may survive. Do not and we will destroy them."

"For whom do you speak, rider?"

"You know who."

The old king furrowed his brow and crouched. Taking a small axe from his belt he whispered, "So be it." The dwarf sprung up from his crouched position and jumped far and high, catching the rider suprised he slammed the axe into the mans skull, with the weight of his jump he grabbed onto the man and brung the horse down too. He turned to his soldiers.

"Kill the horse, use the meat."

He strode back to the fire and sat, warming his hands in the heat.

Expand the town. Take a ship and scout the coast.

Expand the town. Take a ship and scout the coast.

I will second and add onto this.

Expand the town by building a storage area for food in case of siege. I would also build onto the jetty area by building a shipyard so as to build more ships.

As for scouting the coast I would take some men with axes to fell some trees for needed material.

Choose loyal miners and a couple less-loyal ones to work on the project.

Dig a "secret entrance" from well outside the walls toward the town. Make it all twisty and confusing. It bends slightly and never actually reaches the walls, swinging quite wide past it instead.

Instruct the less-loyal miners working the project to rotate out back to other duties right before the tunnel shifts away from town. The loyal miners finish it.

Fill it with traps.

Hopefully, if the enemy tries to learn about a secret entrance they will discover that one. They will waste a ton of people finding out it's a fake. And then they will kill the traitor. It all works out!

Through the secret tunnels of his capital the
Dwarf King, along with his faithful band trod
through. Mud covering them they kept going,
only out of yearning to see their home. The
king stopped and motioned for quiet. After a
moment he waved them to lie on the ground
and to stay.

Like a dirty kobold the king sneaked through
the dimness of the dirty cave to a small alcove
off the path, he looked out of it into the guard
room up  ahead. People were in there... Dwarves.
8 of them in various armor, carrying various
weapons. 3 Spears, 3 Hammers and 2 Axes.
Supplies covered the ground and a bright fire
was raging in the room. The dwarves were
quiet and grim, watching the four exits from
the room. The King slowly stood and and slowly
paced forward, arms out, palms out. Were they
Dwarves from his own realm or those loyal to the
 elves?

Coming into the light the dwarves were startled
and spun around, weapons up. As they saw the
crest carved and placed upon the kings helm in
gemstone they dropped to the ground and bowed.
One of the Hammerman stood up and approached
the king.

“My liege, we thought you were dead!”

It was the Captain of the Guard.... Why was he
here? In this remote place?

“As you see, I am alive and well. Tell me, what
news awaits me?”

The captains eyes darkened and and he looked
 to the ground.

“The... The elves didn't stop, they kept coming.
They destroyed everything, we took what we
wearing and fled.”

“Fled? We do not flee to dirty elves, who told
you to flee?”

“You know who. He was at the gate as we fled,
we didn't see him fall.”

The Dwarf King was downcast at the news. He
slowly paced and sat at the fire, warming his
hands as he did at the beginning of the journey.

“But Sire, what shall we do? We cannot stay here,
sooner or later they'll find us.”

“We do the only thing we can, we move out and
survive. We will never forget what they did.

Soon the people from the village to the north arrive, the dwarves are able to find plants that grow underground,
as well as towercaps. Great farms of these are being set up, perhaps double in size of the first village we built for each
crop, the current village is expanded to about 5 times the  size. A shipyard is built and you now have access to being
able to build ships. You wait until high tide and set off with axemen to scout the south of the land. The coast off to the
south is but large beaches separated by rocky headlands,  covered with endless plains of grass until it finally gives way
to desert. You are able to find a small forest and you are able  to gather a full shipload of wood and take it back with you. A
small group of elves trickle to your village, escaping the tyranny  of the oppressive government they stay with you, wishing to
make use of themselves.

What do you do?

You can build whatever ship you want with the shipyard, within suitable restrictions, just suggest what type of ship to build and I'll say if you can and how long it'll take.

May we get a map along with a status list, it has been awhile.

Anyways have the elves become scouts, and watchers making sure no intruders get near the village without an alarm being sounded... of course after a full mental screening to make sure they aren't intruders themselves.

Then since we have searched the land to the south, sail along the coast to the north.

The elves will be pressed into doing the terrible grunt work. Build them their own bunkhouse and feed them whatever anybody else doesn't want. After all, they're elves.

Have the dwarf king join your army. He seems suitably mad at the Alliance.
