Missing ones: I definitely see lapis lazuli (top second from far right) maybe fossilized wood (second row from bottom, far left, also second row from top, second from far right), and what may be jadeite (second row, 3rd from left).

The blue one on the bottom: Maybe turquoise? Really hard to tell, and I'm leaning towards not. The shade of blue looks about right, though. Does it feel like metal, or crystal?

Also, the strongly banded one (the one with large blue, grey, brown bands) I'm almost positive is a banded agate. The blueish banded one probably is another agate, and the pinkish-grey one with the smaller bands might be, too, but it looks a little more like banded calcite or banded jasper?

The very clear, squarish, chunky one is probably quarts, but it could possibly be optic calcite.

if you have the skill, carving them into small models or interesting shapes could make them worth something...

very impractical though, but dwarven.                                                 make sure to drown the buyer afterwards

I think the green and white one all the way to the right under the amythest is malachite. The one to the left of it is I think what kinseti said may be either aventurine or jade... that one's not aventurine for sure (jade, maybe). Aventurine is more "solid" looking, as well as darker green. Not translucent at all.

I dunno about it being malachite...I was looking specifically for malachite and hematite, and I didn't see either--although I think you're close. I think it's azurite, which is related to malachite. The white in it, I think is kaolinite, another related mineral.

I wouldn't have come to that conclusion if you hadn't mentioned malachite, though. It's hard to tell if it's azurite, because azurite is intensely blue, but it also doesn't weather well, so I think it's just faded.

Well, it's hard to tell without knowing about the color balance in the photo. There might be a bit too much red in it, which would make azurite look kind of greenish - in fact, that's probably the case.

Nice pebbles!
You see these at festival markets and fairs etc on rock collectors stalls.
You will probably not get much for them, as their retail value is a few Euros for a bunch, but they are a nice gift for a young boy to start him off collecting minerals or for a young woman who is interested in making her own jewelry.

You could also use them to encrust a coffee mug. :)
or liven up a fishbowl (Probably there areen't disolvable minerals there, polishing ius done in water mostly, though the 'quarts' might also be rock salt).

It's been a while (8 years :P) since I gave away my rock collection, but checking out google image search I still think the green ones, both rough and smooth, could be aventurine :

I have a feeling the OP really only wanted to know if they were valuable though :P I'm just having fun using something I learned when I was ten and expected to never need again.

Oh well, I kind of suspected they wouldn't be valuable, that you guys have managed to name nearly all of them is an added bonus.

Did you just post a bunch of vegi-dicks on my board?  I've been trying to combat forum devolution a bit, and that involves fewer vegi-dicks!
