Welcome...To Darklands.A noble priest, a noble knight, a wealthy alchemist, and a begger enter a bar...

And swear an oath of brotherhood!
The priest Okenido asks how they should acheive glory, and the knight has an idea...

The brave Sir Floirt suggests they achieve glory by sitting around and studying! Apparently that's what warriors do in France...
Just to show up the nobles, Dwarmin the Vagabond suggests a different route...

Yes, fighting in the back alleys is
exactly what we'd expect from him...
However, the alchemist Gregori offers a different tactic...

Apparently wealthy alchemists have a bit more to lose than filthy hobos...
But, you can't blame a begger for not thinking of buying something, as the term "spending money" is foreign to Dwarmin.
Now, to look at our heros a bit closer...
Okenido of the East
Okenido started life as a noble, who was thrust out of the house to save his family from their many, many sins. Thankfully, he was cut from a purer cloth than his kin, and was promptly appointed a Priest for his Virtue. He kept this job throughout the years, even turning down an opportunity at becoming Bishop, so devout was he. During Okenido's spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with Missile Weapons, and bandaging up the parisoners he accidentally shot! Sadly, he's far better as playing doctor than shooting the crossbow...
At the age of 35, he decided that Europe needed a band of heros to guide them, and thus formed this party.
Floirt the Frenchie
The noble Floirt has always done what is right, starting his career as a Noble Heir unti he could be Knighted. He's got quite the tongue for the common folk, but he's also able to read & write. But should anyone cross him, he can run down foes on horse, and outduel anyone on foot.
Dwarmin the Scruffy
Seeing a Vagabond in the company of nobles leads many to think Dwarmin's inclusion is an act of Christian charity by the others. However, he provides many worldly skills the other lack. While not the greatest with locks, his Apprenticeship as a Craftsman gave him a limited skill in this. After being unable to afford continued schooling, he left his rural village to travel the world, using his keep eye to spot trouble, his alleycat-like reflexes to avoid problems, and his street smarts to talk his way out of a bind. To remain fed, he's become skilled in tracking and clubbing animals for food.
Gregori Stein
Gregori is a scholar from wealthy family who became enraptured with alchemy, to the negect of almost everything else. Oh, he's skilled in the University, and in convincing common folk not to bother him, but he's never seen the outside of the city. One suspects he joined not to cleanse the world of evil, but to test his potions in real-life conditions, and get a more ready supply of reagents.
Now, the party currently has access to only one saint, as Okenido's other two saints require more virtue than the humble priest currently possesses.
Saint Eric
Not a bad saint, actually. Granting strength is vital to keeping near-dead characters alive, as losing endurance knocks one out, but losing strength kills.
The party struck it lucky with the Alchemist.
Potions
Potions can be sold for decent money, or used for good effect. We currently have one of each. Here's what they do, best as I can tell...
Noxious Aroma- Useful in scenarios (adventure scenes) where someone needs to be distracted, and during battle will lower the skill of opponents in the area it's thrown.
Thunderbolt- Very destructive. Blows stuff up, don't use it for locks if you want the contents of the room/box/etc. Decent area-attack.
Trueflight- Makes your arrows/bolts/bullets more accurate. Weak. I suggest we trade this one in for armor.
Transformation- Our alchemist can create gold! But, it takes gold, and really isn't viable for sale. But, this stuff is great for cleansing tainted sites! Much easier than fighting the resident demon!
So Partygoers, what shall we do next?
[Feel free to contradict your character in-game, beside they were only making suggestions]
