It is not funny. It is so not funny that I have a hard time believing it is not TRYING to be stupid.

Thanks, Broose.  You always know how to get someone's spirits up.

Anyway, yes, I really did go hiking.  I am the square-headed person in all of those comics.  All of the ones with stick figures (up until Perspective Man) were based on real-life experiences I had, and were drawn mostly for the people who were there, who then encouraged me to start making "real" comics.  I've decided to leave up the old ones, most of which are probably inside jokes, because they were how I started and my friends still like to read them now and then.  I know there aren't many "real" ones up just yet, but I've got a few more ready to go and I'll upload them at least once a week (and try to find the time to draw some more before I run out).

And yes, I'm well aware that my style of humor is not funny to anyone (Broose, for example), but I've had enough people tell me they enjoy these that I'm going to stick with it.

Don't worry, I like it.
I've been in situations like the ones in the comic.
Goddamn I hate hikes.

Thanks, Maggarg.

There's a new one up now.  I think I'm going to try for Tuesday-Friday updates.

I am very heavily inspired by Pictures for Sad Children by John Campbell

I really hated that comic, if only because the author insisted on using lower case "i"'s when he's supposed to use upper case "I"'s.

I'm not a big fan of grammatical errors made on purpose.

While I sorta side with Josh on this one, that little minicomic is somehow hilarious.

If you react to critic with cold cynism, I guess that's why people tell you they like them.

I assume you mean you're intelligent enough not to let it get to you?

I didn't read the comic, I was just noting the reaction to criticism.
