Thanks, Broose.  You always know how to get someone's spirits up.

I've had enough people tell me they enjoy these that I'm going to stick with it.
If you react to critic with cold cynism, I guess that's why people tell you they like them.
Oh yes, blatant and rather uninspired trolling is critique, is and always has been, right?

It means 'trouble never comes alone'.

I'm proud to say I've been keeping up with my planned Tuesday-Friday update schedule, so here's the new one.

As for constructive criticism, I am open to it and, in fact, appreciate it; without it my work will never get any better.  What Broose was doing, however, was trolling, not critique, and so I chose to let it bounce off of me.  Please do not take this to mean that if you have a genuine critique of my work, I will not respond to it.  But if all you have to say is "it was so bad it's like you were trying to look stupid," don't expect much of a reaction.

Thanks!  This has actually happened to me many times.  I'm having a fine day and suddenly everyone keeps asking if I'm okay and then I get all self-conscious and miserable.

Joe has the best hair.

Also, several thumbs up on the webcomic in general!

Several thumbs down for Broose.

Broose has been banned. We needn't worry about him anymore.

However, just allow me to say one thing. I feel sorry for his friend but as far as I know his friend didn't mention he had a terminal disease, just acted like an idiot and got Banned and either way having a terminal disease doesn't permit you to act in a way that gets you banned. Therefore, Broose's logic is flawed and this whole thing was avoidable.

Damn it. I'll shut up now.

I just got my first donation!

...It was from my grandmother.

So now I feel lucky and pathetic at the same time.

Well, at least you have a pretty spectacularly awesome grandmother, if not a rabid and over-devoted fanbase. Such things take time. Also, you'll probably get a stalkerish email from a fan who thinks he's in love with you far sooner than you get another donation, if my estimations are correct.

I can offer you a sock with a hole in it.  Not a clean one, though.  Laundry detergent costs money.  And I am poor.

A sock?! With a hole in it? I'll send you the shipping fees now!

Heck, if you actually sent it to me, I'd frame it up and hang it on the wall. It would make an awesome story to tell to others, don't you think?

Wow, now that I think about it, it would.

"That's a rather odd item old chap!"
"Well, you see..."

It's the icebreaker from heaven.

Unless you're allergic to it or something. But who cares, SOCK.
